June is a very exciting time for the WA writing community.
Not only does YA for WA turn one year old, but it's also WritingWA's Love to Read Local Week! We can't wait to celebrate with the writing community in a big way. Here's what you can look forward to:
The 4th is our birthday. Around that date, we'll be sharing some fun things across our social media so keep an eye out for that!
From May 27 until June 30, we're hosting an epic giveaway. Buy or borrow a YA book by a WA author and you'll receive an entry into the giveaway! We've got a big package of books, bookish merch, vouchers and more up for grabs! A list of participating libraries and bookshops is on our Instagram+ and we hope to grow the list throughout the coming days.
On June 9, join us at The Literature Centre as we launch our brand new Australian YA book club! AJ Betts will be in conversation, and we'll also be testing your YA knowledge with some trivia!
